Things I Take Responsibility For:

Content

This is my personal blog. All opinions expressed here are my own and do not represent those of people, institutions, or organizations that I’m associated with or directly work for in a professional or personal capacity unless explicitly stated. This is my content, not theirs.

Mistakes

I may make a mistake or omission in one of my posts. I’m human and that will happen. Feel free to point it out in a comment and I’ll correct it.

Copyright

Since almost everything in my blog comes from my experience and usage of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Azure, and… well, you get the point (I do work across a lot of products ), it belongs to me. If you like a post feel free to link to it! But please don’t copy it directly. Thank you for respecting my intellectual property.

Disclaimer in my disclaimer: I stole this disclaimer from Joanne Klein, but she said it was ok.  She said I didn’t have to credit her, which means she likely stole it herself

Responses to Post Questions

Work on this blog is done on my own personal time. I will respond to corrections on my blog and minor questions as time permits. If you have an involved question, please reach out to me so we can arrange something more formal.  I also tend not to respond to questions for very old posts.  I find many of my much older posts are still helpful to some, but I have moved on from the topic or technology.  If I don’t respond to an old post’s comment it’s likely because I haven’t touched anything related to that topic in some time, but I haven’t pulled it down because others still find it useful.

Things I’m Not Responsible For:

Eternal Accuracy

The information in this blog is provided “as is” with no warranties, and confers no rights. I’ll do my best to make sure all information, including links, are accurate at the time of posting but there’s no guarantee that information posted today will still be valid or accurate in the future, particularly with the fast cadence of change in Office 365. For clarity, each post has a publish date on it and, in some cases, a last verified date.

Screenshot Maintenance

I work in a cloud solution.  If you’ve come to my site, you likely do as well.  We all know that we have little to no control in the UI of these various cloud technologies.  I’ll do my best to keep screenshots up to date, but please be aware it would be a full-time job for me to update every screenshot constantly every time an update is made.  I’ll do my best, but please remember, this is all done on my personal time.

Incoming Links

I can’t control who links to me. If you see a questionable site linking to my blog, take it up with them, not me. I don’t submit my blog to directories, so if they find me, it was all on their own.

Comments

Feel free to comment on any of my blog entries. I reserve the right to delete any comment for any reason whatsoever – like abusive, profane, rude, anonymous comments, and spam. Once a comment passes moderation I won’t be held responsible for the contents of blog comments. And I’m not responsible for any laws that may be broken in any country through the content, implication, and intent of blog comments.  I also moderate my comments.  I find this helps to weed out comments that do not belong on my site.  If you don’t see your comment, first determine if it falls under the Responses to Post Questions above.  Otherwise, please be patient.  I’ll do my best to get to it ASAP.

I’d love to share regularly with you!
