I recently worked with a couple of Microsoft 365 user groups to provide some groundwork for Records Management.  This presentation covers general records management concepts (technology agnostic) before discussing the implementation with Microsoft 365.  Both groups asked some great question and I really enjoyed meeting with them.  It’s a good presentation to understand not only the how, but also what records management is, why it’s important, who should be involved, and where it can be used within Microsoft 365.

    the link to the presentation doesn’t appear to work. hovering over it suggests it is a PDF file but clicking on it does nothing.

      Hi Shiela,

      I tested and you appear to be correct. I wonder if you are using Chrome and it is set to download the document automatically. This is the setting my chrome was utilizing and I was able to recreate the issue you reported. To correct the issue make the following updates to your Chrome settings (BTW, I didn’t have any issues in Firefox):

      1. Open the Chrome settings menu and select Settings.
      2. Select Site Settings under Privacy and Security.
      3. Select Additional content settings.
      4. Select PDF documents.
      5. Set the toggle next to Open PDFs in Chrome.

      I think your pop-up blocker is blocking the prompt to download the file.
